As part of the big push to get people out and about after lock-down, Sefton Council wanted to promote many of the fantastic cycling routes available throughout the area. We were asked to redesign their existing maps and to bring a fresh and interesting look that would encourage potential users to pick up a map and ultimately, get back on their bikes.

We felt the previous designs were dated and lacking in appeal partly due to the limited photography that was available. We opted for a fresh, vibrant illustrative approach that reflected the excitement of a cycling trip and showed a host of amazing locations that could open up to you – all on your doorstep.
