Collideoscope

Collideoscope.org is a website allowing cyclists to report issues with other road users or road layouts. This outlet allows cyclists to log and describe all types of incidents as well as details of where and when they occurred. The information gathered then allows road campaigners and planners to build up an image of accident black spots and areas of concern.

We were asked at the launch stage of the site to design a leaflet to promote Collideoscope. This leaflet would be given out at events or left in key areas for cyclists to pick up. We wanted to create something that cyclists would pick up and perhaps share with others – something they identified with. Our solution was to create an off-centre concertina fold leaflet. The leaflet unfolds from left to right and the visual of a vehicle driving way too close to the cyclist creates space between both road users. The Leaflet has been well received and is in its third reprint.
