Merseyside Road Safety Partnership Website

Merseyside Road Safety Partnership was created in 2007 to combat the rising number of deaths and serious injuries in Merseyside. The Partnership is made up of local authorities, Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and Merseytravel. It is supported by Highways England, North West Ambulance Service and the Police and Crime Commissioner’s office.

Working with the partnership initially in our workshop based meetings, we established the objectives, user profiles that allowed us to plan the site content. The key objective to building a new site was to ensure we get the right message to the right people at the right time.

Project Objectives:
• Develop a contemporary, engaging CMS website that rewards users with relevant, informative content.
• Implement the new brand identity.
• Create a simple-to-navigate site with easy to find information.
• Establish a tone of voice that represents the values of the Partnership.
• Develop a graphic style to support content and imagery.

It is important to the Partnership that the website changes and evolves with the seasons, as new initiatives are brought in to help all road users, and news articles are up-to-date.
