Safer For Longer

Safer for Longer is an initiative created by five councils in the North West of England to help raise awareness, provide information and advice about how to stay safe as a driver, rider, passenger and pedestrian as we get older. It covers topics like medication, exercise, brushing up on driving skills, eyesight and mobility.

We were initially tasked with creating a folder to house the above topics but it soon became clear that the initiative needed a strong brand look and corporate identity to help carry the message through different types of media and raise awarness of this great resource as it progressed.

The brand mark was kept clean, simple and eye catching using icons to denote what the initiative is about, with simple use of typography. The brand mark was then used to create a style that could be carried through to the folder, inserts and events promotional posters and flyers, with people being at the forefront of the design – giving it a friendly, approachable look.
